2026–2027 Year Theme

Building a Strong Faith

“Rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith.”

Colossians 2:6-7

Our Vision & Mission

Vision: A student ministry rooted in gospel truth, where students are known, discipled, and launched into lifelong faith in Christ.

Mission: To intentionally know, disciple, and equip students through gospel-centered relationships, leadership development, and transformative teaching.

Known

Every student is greeted by name and followed up with after their first visit.

Discipled

Through Scripture, small groups, and honest mentorship, students grow a real, personal walk with Jesus.

Launched

Students are given real responsibility and pointed toward who they can serve and disciple next.

Weekly Gatherings

Two weekly rhythms for middle and high school students to worship, learn, and grow together.

Wednesday Nights

6th–12th Grade · Middle & High School

Wednesdays at 7:00 PM

  • Meet together for Worship / Announcements
  • Separate for verse-by-verse teaching and Small Groups
  • Impact Nights & special events

Impact Nights are monthly opportunities for students to invite a friend — low-pressure, fun nights and a great introduction to youth.

Sunday Mornings

6th–12th Grade · Middle & High School

SUNDAYS at 9:00 & 11 AM

Middle School — Bible study / teaching, small groups, games & activities during the 9:00 & 11:00 AM services.

High School — Join main service to grow alongside the whole church family.

High School Deep Dives — offered throughout the year. Deeper topics and discipleship: book studies, apologetics, and topical studies.

Communion Sundays — On the first Sunday of each month, students join the main service with their families to celebrate communion together.

Serving Together: Community Outreach

One of the things we’re leaning into this year is getting out of the building. Faith isn’t just something students learn about — it’s something they live. Community outreach and service events give students a chance to put the gospel into action in a way that changes them.

Serving Together: Student Leadership

We believe students grow best when they are not just attending but contributing. These are great ways for students to help youth services run.

Worship Team

We need students to help lead worship — singing and playing instruments.

Sound & AV Team

Help with the sound board, lyric slides, lights, and more. We’ll train you!

Buddies / Welcome & Activity

Be a friendly face for new students — and help create and run fun games and activities.

The Year Ahead — Calendar

Dates can be subject to change.

How to Get Involved

We always need caring adults — as small group leaders, event volunteers, counselors, or simply a warm presence in our rec room. There’s a role for every level of commitment.

Rec Room Supervision

Sunday mornings & Wednesday nights — as often as available

Trusted adults present in the rec room before and after services. No plan needed — show up, be warm and welcoming, and available when needed.

Event Helper

Monthly — Impact Nights / special events

Chaperones, game leaders, setup, and food help. Needs are sent out per event with signup options.

Youth Leader

Weekly (Middle School or High School)

Our primary discipleship role — show up each week, build relationships, facilitate small groups, and walk with students as they grow.

Check In Helper

Before services (1–4× / week)

Help families check in each week. A great way to meet people and follow up with families who attend. (About 15 minutes before service.)

Care and Connect

As often as possible

Perfect if you don’t want to lead a small group but want to love and connect with students — be present, introduce students, and be a helpful presence.

The Other Stuff

As the Lord leads

Have a passion or idea that could bless youth? Tell us. We can’t do it all — if the Lord has given you something, we want to hear it.

Prayer

Continuously (1 Thess 5:17)

If you can’t help out in person, please pray for the students and leaders at Calvary Youth.

Becoming a weekly leader requires our onboarding process, a background check, and Ministry Safe training. Join the Volunteer Team to get connected for serving opportunities. Questions? Reach out to Pastor Niles.

Join the Church Center Group

A Church Center group for easy communication about upcoming events, announcements, and what’s happening in youth.
