To learn more about each of these and find out what is going on within the church, click the links below.
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, to prayer, and to the serving of tables." Acts 2:42, 6:2
Here at Calvary we have organized our ministries into five categories. Teaching to learn more about Jesus, fellowship with other believers, bring requests and thanksgiving to Jesus through prayer, serving others like Jesus served and outreach by telling others about Jesus.
There is nothing better than the gathering of the saints, but we understand that there are times you will travel, be ill or you just can't make it. You can still join us with our live video stream from wherever you are.
This book was named after Samuel, not only because he is the principal figure in the first part, but also because he anointed the two other principal characters, Saul and David. Originally a single book which was divided when translated into Greek, the books of Samuel cover a period of time in Israel’s history from the birth of Samuel to the close of the reign of David. First Samuel presents the transition from Israel’s judges to the monarchy. Second Samuel deals almost exclusively with the history of David and presents a vivid picture of the theocratic monarchy in which the king represents God’s rule over the people.
