Worship in spirit and in truth

We recognize music as a beautiful expression of worship to our Creator. Therefore, we incorporate music into our gatherings as we follow Paul's exhortation to "Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 5:19-20).

Music Ministry Opportunities

Direct any questions regarding our music ministry to Dave Roberts. Since music plays such an important part in our worship, there are many opportunities available for those willing to share their musical talents, as described below:

Worship Teams
Our Worship teams are comprised of gifted musicians and singers who have a sincere desire to bring glory and honor to their heavenly Father through the musical talents He has given them. These teams minister in our services on a rotating basis and hold regular rehearsals during the periods in which they serve.

Children's Worship Teams
Our Children's Worship Teams serve on a rotating basis as they teach praise and worship songs to our children on Sunday mornings. Teens and adults alike volunteer their time and talents to minister through music in our Children's Worship Service and in the classes.

Prison Ministry Praise Bands
These bands are part of the teams that minister monthly at prisons in the area. This is an excellent opportunity to uplift and encourage inmates through worship.

Sound Reinforcement
This vital ministry is responsible for sound systems and operations. In addition to our regular services, many church-related activities, both onsite and offsite, require this type of technical support.

Worship Workshop in the Woods
This is an annual worship workshop where we camp out, and teach people basic guitar techniques to help them serve the body through leading worship.
