As a teenager Josh was passionate about surfing and skateboarding and tried to find his purpose and identity through success in the surfing scene. Although, Josh was gaining sponsors and local recognition as a surfer, he soon began to discover that surfing, sponsors, being popular, girls, the drugs and alcohol that went along with the scene, did not bring him any true fulfillment.

At the age of 17 Josh responded to Christ’s calling on his life; letting his old life go and placing his faith in Jesus Christ, he was radically changed! Since that time Josh has been involved in Youth Ministry. He is now passionate about bringing the same message, of the truth of Jesus Christ that changed his life, to young people who are searching for their purpose.
